Dy.nam.x at shrek Show!
We are excited to have been asked to participate in another Selma Arts Center production! We have done two so far, Mary Poppins and Young Frankenstein, and they went great for them and us.
As we begin working on "Shrek the Musical", we know a lot of you are new to this process. So, here are some important notes:
1. This webpage will change regularly to reflect the latest info (in RED). Check it before any Shrek related event/rehearsal.
2. As you have questions, please text/call/talk to Robert or Lisa at rehearsals. This really is a fun, easy set of shows.
3. We hope you will be able to make all the shows. However, in the event you can't, we need to know ASAP. It will affect placement
(we don't want multiple people in one area missing at the same time.)
4. Please add these events to your calendars ASAP, and notify us if you have any conflicts.
5. Each dancer's family can receive 2 complimentary tickets to see the entire show. These tickets can be for either Saturday, April 23 @
2:00, or Saturday, April 30 @ 2:00. Please text me by Tuesday, April 12 with your choice so I can give them the list. (Of course you can
buy as many as you like for other shows.
6. Drivers = Robert will choose who drives with whom. Please do not make any plans outside of what you see below without checking with
Robert first. Below is a list of shows. If you would like to drive for a show(s), please text me your choice of date(s) and how many
seatbelts you have for dancers.
7. For each Saturday, we will decide in advance what we will do in between shows. For the first Saturday, we will go eat together in
between the shows. Each dancer will need to bring $10 (even though it probably won't cost that much).
8. Times = (MAY BE ADJUSTSTED) with the exception of the first show, show times are at 2:00 or 7:00. Unless otherwise specified, we
will meet at Robert & Lisa's house (address/ directions/ map below to right). We will return there after the show. We should arrive
approximately 10:00-10:15, but will call/text when we are on our way with an accurate time.
9. DON'T WASH COSTUMES AT ALL!! If your costumes gets dirty before the end of the show, please talk to Lisa or Linda.
10. I added the comp list at the bottom of this page. Please check it out and let me know if there is a mistake. Comps should be available at
the door
11. There is currently A LOT of construction by our house on Akers. You can either come by way of Riggin to Crenshaw, or Akers,
Ferguson, Linwood, Wren. Check out map below. For the first time, please come a little early until you figure out the best way to get
here.
12. We need to get the full costumes on and approved, as well as make-up (nose/whiskers, and stage make up) on all the dancers. Whoever
is going to be helping your dancer with costume/make up, please come this Thursday, April 21 from 6:30-7:30. Please bring the make
up you are thinking of using (eyeliner, lipstick, mascara, light/powder foundation). If you have questions on what to bring, text Lisa.
13. To my knowledge, the driver list is now correct. Take a look and let me know if there are any problems. )BTW, you cannot drive on the
day you have comps. So I adjusted it some.)

Directions+ Below are maps to Hinds' and Selma Arts Center.
+ The easiest way is to go out Riggin which turns into Betty Drive. There is an on ramp for 99. + On the way back, just take Betty Dr. exit (in Goshen) and turn Left. It turns into Riggin. Selma Arts Center = 1935 High Street, Selma, CA 93662- Exit off at 2nd Street in Selma.

+ Please text Robert to sign up to drive to one of the shows. Include # of available seatbelts.
